Recycling Day: September 2008
Recycling Day is back - this Sunday - and we need you continous support - "materially" and/or "physically" ... you can bring us the recycables like old newspapers, magazines, boxes, plastic bottles etc. Or join us as part of the volunteer team ... Team A from 10am to 1pm and Team B from 1pm to 3pm. Or come and join us for a chat.

Can we consider to place proper recycling bins (carefully considering various strategic locations) within CG instead of waiting once a mth? That is only for plastics, glass, paper. Like those we see in Ikea for example. Newspapers can be once a mth. But plastics & bottles...it would also give a good impression to visitors on our efforts.
Would also be good if someone can look into solar power application for CG.
Plus, would be nice to have an indoor community hall. Has anyone seriously played badminton in Central Park so far? It would be good training ground for future national players.
The community hall does not have to very fancy. It can be like LCCT (AirAsia terminal) as long as it serves the purpose. There's plenty of space within CG to put it up.
