Dear Canel Gardenees,
Last week, there are some residents that who chat with each other that someone saw snake around the canel area. In one incident, a snake even go into a house.
Not sure how true it is.
But, Today, my in-law while walking along the canel walk path, a dead snake was seen.
This is not so good sign, and pose a safety concerns to all of us.
May be cause by the lalang, or the recent construction works in the interchange that had caused the snake (or snakes) to look for a new home.
Do take note and take care.

Guess we all know by now the recent sightings & capture of a encik panjang in our c-g area, if not wrong around 98R/98Q alley. Also the most venomous type in our country. Thankfully it was in the back alley. As we all know - from Nat Geo - encik panjang like cool / dark places & they hunt at night. Well, they are also looking for place to survive. This could have been due to the developments all over KK at the moment. There are no more natural habitat for encik panjang.
Besides security issues, we residents would appreciate if action can be taken up on the homes that are not occupied to clear lalang - both in front & backyard. Even more so the corner units. The neglected green areas of the unoccupied homes become more like a secondary jungle & excellent new home for encik panjang.
At the moment, individually we only make a report to MBSA branh here in KK but more affirmative action & consistent pursuance must be drawn up. Hope the RA can come up with something before it's too late.
Hope I am not over reacting but I believe every resident here in c-g especially with young growing up kids will be most concerned. Playing in the playgrounds will have to be extra cautious from now.
