More than
400 people from over
140 families participated in our
Canal Gardens Family Day 2008. The rain failed to dampen the neighbourhood spirit, and the families of Canal Gardens came out in drove to support our annual event. Some drenched but almost all went home with a smile and a stomach full of yummy food and a bit of mosquito bites. The sporting ones, who took part in our Fashion Show, Karaoke and Games, went home with some small tokens and hampers. The lucky ones went home with galore of lucky draw gifts. And most of the kids went home smiling cheek to cheek, showing off their "mini tattoos" and "collectibles" sand arts.
We thank all families who supported our Family Day. Your attendance and participations made this event a success and memorable one. We thanked all our generous sponsors, including individuals who have contributed in kinds and cash.
