One of the key objectives of Kota Kemuning Canal Gardens Golf Tournament is to raise funds where all the net proceeds from this tournament are channeled towards Canal Gardens Fund to subsidize all future in-house sports and social events.
This is also a very good opportunity to come together and get to know your fellow residents within Canal Gardens and finding new golf “kakis” as we are joined by our very supportive invited guests as well.
We are very pleased with the warm responses from Canal Gardens’ residents as well as their golf-buddies (about 30 – 40% are invited guests / non-residents). We have a total of 48 golfers, happily and excitedly sweating out on a sunny afternoon from 1pm to 6pm, conquering a quite challenging 18-hole course.
Dinner was held from 7pm … and our lucky draw prizes were also one of the highlight of the tournament. Almost every participant go home with at least one lucky draw prize (well almost everyone lah … so hopefully next year we can get more sponsors).
Once again we thank all the fellow residents’ golfers as well as their invited guests for the sportsmanship and support! A BIG thank you to the key organizers, especially to Steven Lim, Brandon Chin and Choong Chee Sham as well the rest of the committee members and not forgetting the CWC (Committees Wives Club) who helped out in the run up as well as during the tournament. Last but not least, to all our sponsors who have contributed handsomely, a BIG thank you!
