Karaoke Singing Contest (Canal Gardens Family Day 2008)

Yee-Haa ........ the American Idol / One-In-a-Million / Akademi Fantasia / Astro Talent Quest fever is here to stay. Calling out to all the karaoke kakis of Canal Gardens. Let's come and join us. Think you can rap like Kanye West, bring sexy back like Justin Timberlake, croon like Fei Yu-Ching (费玉清). To all the wannabes of Jay-Chou, Alicia Keys, Mariah Carey, Lee-Hom, Sheila Majid, Lionel Richie, Ning Baizura, Frank Sinatra or even Michael Jackson - you are invited to participate in our very own, Canal Gardens Family Day's Karaoke Singing Contest.

This contest is open to everyone above 12 years of age. The preliminary round will be held on Sunday, 9 March 2008. All participants are only allowed one song. And yeah, you have to bring your own CD/VCD/DVD or props if you have any.

You may already received the flyers/submission forms. Our road reps will be distributing the flyers and submission form by this weekend. Please check your mailbox.

For those of you who are interested to take on the best-of-the-best in Canal Gardens, please return your form with RM10 to your road rep (stated in the flyer/form itself) or contact the following ladies by 5th March (Wed):

The final will be held on the Canal Gardens Family Day, 22nd March 2008, 9.30pm.
