Quick Updates on CGRA (Canal Gardens Residents Association)

The committee has submited the application to the ROS for registration of the RA in December 2008, but the ROS require certain amendments to be made to the proposed byelaws. So we have to do the amendments and re-submit the application in January 2009. Barring any unforseen circumstances, we expect the process of registration to be completed within three (3) months, i.e. by March/April 2009.

CGRC Monthly Meeting - Jan 2009

Dear Canal Gardens Residents,

The CGRC will be having our monthly meeting and for this January 2009, we want you to be there if you can. We will be going through some updates and issues discussions affecting Canal Gardens as well as the plan for our annual Lion Dance (CNY).

We certainly need more residents to take an active interest in issues affecting Canal Gardens. The more residents who are willing to come and give their views is better. The more residents who are willing to contribute their time and effort to the committee is even better. We certainly need fresh blood and new talents.

Date: Friday, 16 January 2009
Time: 8.30 pm sharp
Venue: PPKK office (Right above the POS Office/Police Station)

Canal Gardens Residents' AGM Minutes

MINUTES OF CANAL GARDENS RESIDENTS’ ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
HELD ON 12 OCTOBER 2008

Krishnan Jr, the Chairman for Canal Gardens Residents Committee (CGRC) 2008/09 called the meeting to order at 8.30 pm. He thanked the current CGRC members for a job well done.

Minutes of last AGM held on 28 October 2007

Item 6 of minutes should read as:

Mr Lau of 16L mentioned that we should evaluate before deciding to take over the management of the Gardens. This issue will be deliberated by the new CGRC members at their next meeting.

The previous minutes were then proposed, seconded and deemed as passed.

Canal Rectification Works
Krishnan Jr informed the meeting that the CGRC is unhappy with the developer, Hicom-Gamuda Development Sdn Bhd (HGD) for the delay in the rectification works of the canal resulting in a bad stench during hot weather. CGRC members have had meetings with both HGD and Majlis Bandaran Shah Alam (MBSA) on the canal issue from March 2008 – 24 June 2008. Initially HGD had agreed to proceed with the rectification works by building floodgates but on 30 June 2008, HGD expressed their rejection on doing so to MBSA. MBSA had then agreed to take on the responsibility of building the floodgates by using the deposit obtained from HGD. MBSA is currently calling for tenders and rectification works should begin on the first week of December 2008. We shall keep residents informed of developments via our Canal Gardens blog and the notice board.

Persatuan Penduduk Kota Kemuning (PPKK)
Krishnan Jr stressed the importance of being a member of PPKK; PPKK with the relevant authorities has managed to stop the sand lorries from plying the Kota Kemuning area and it has lent a hand in the following issues with regards to Canal Gardens:

1) Canal rectification works
2) Basketball court lights changed
3) Street lights changed to a higher voltage. Currently, these street lights are changed on an alternate sequence but all lights will be changed from 70w to 150w by 2009
4) Unhealthy and dead trees have been replaced with 200 new ones

Residents were encouraged to join or renew their memberships at the registration desk set up.

Financial Position of CGRC accounts
Kenny Khow, our Treasurer briefed the meeting.

Currently, we have approximately RM11,000 in our CGRC fund which is derived from the monthly recycling collections, Family Day and Golf Tournament. From this fund, we have issued a cheque amounting to RM1,000 as donation towards SJK © Chung Hua Klang. We have also purchased 2 units of reflector mirrors as well as a sound system unit for future events.

As for the Audited Accounts from HGD which was received 3 days prior to the Annual General Meeting although we have requested for same for months. CGRC had also requested for HGD’s auditors to be present for any queries but to no avail.

Since there is no representation from HGD or their auditors, residents who have any queries with regards to the audited accounts ending 31 March 2008 are to directly write to HGD Property Services Sdn Bhd or visit their office.

Paul Leong, 35R voiced the following issues:

1) HGD has made no effort to spruce up the vicinity before the AGM which they have done previously. Are they no longer interested?
2) Auditors should be available to present the Audited Accounts and answer queries
3) Dengue cases – regular fogging
4) Suggestion for barbeque pit
5) Recycling – residents should try their best to contribute recyclable items as well as volunteer their time on the first Sunday of each month as the proceeds from the sales will go directly to the CGRC account for the organizing of events for residents

Social and Sports Update
Steven Lim, the current Head of Sports briefed the meeting.

1) Volunteers for Head of Social which is currently vacant, previously held by Mrs Lily Wong who has since left for the US
2) Line Dancing for the ladies ongoing every Monday at RM30 per month with practice session on Thusrdays
3) Martial Arts practice every morning
4) Recycling – first Sunday of each month. We would like to request for more volunteers to assist on the recycling day as well as more contributions in recyclable items
5) Golf – yearly event, next one 2009
6) Family Day – once in two years, next one in 2010
7) Home Gardening contest – once in two years, next one in 2009
8) Forthcoming events: a) cycling day (family event), b) gotong royong, c) Tai Chi
9) Residents walking their dogs to kindly ensure that their pets’ waste is properly taken care of.

Security
There were a few comments/complaints from the floor on the following:

1) runaway maids
2) noisy dogs
3) entry and exit of visitors/contractors/others
4) security as a whole – slacking

Brandon briefed the meeting:

A SOP on security has already been given by HGD and all residents are required to give their full cooperation to ensure that the SOP works. If we want to have good security, we must ensure that we as residents also play a responsible role as follows:

1) Follow the SOP
2) Ensure that we as residents gain access into Canal Gardens by using the access cards and all of us should have the 2008/09 stickers on our windscreens
3) Visitors/contractors are required to register at the guardhouse after which the guards will give them a Visitors Placard to be placed at their dashboards and to be returned upon exit
4) For any reports of missing maids, theft – to report to the Police and complete the incident report forms at the guardhouse for the Security Company’s action and follow ups
5) Noisy and unfriendly dogs – speak to your neighbours directly on the problem; this will also improve your rapport
6) Residents are encouraged not to speed, take a complete turn at the roundabout and not to drive across or park on the turfs

CGRC has given the Security Company 45 days grace to improve on their slackness and should there not be any progress, CGRC will inform HGD for a replacement.

The proposals given by residents on improving security – automation, wireless communication between the guardhouse and individual homes and security measures similar to the one practised in Bukit Rimau will be discussed with HGD and the Security Company.

Canal Gardens Residents Association (CGRA)
JT Chong, our Legal Advisor briefed the meeting.

At present the CGRC is not legal and it has no proper standing when handling matters with HGD or the authorities. Whereas, a Residents Association (RA) is:

1) Permanent and legal. It involves membership fee collections, conducting of yearly audits
2) As it is permanent and long term, a RA requires residents commitment
3) A RA is a common trend nowadays working as a pressure group to make it easier to raise issues with the developer and authorities. Quality of service to residents will hence improve
4) RA must be registered if we want to take over the management of Canal Gardens where we can either appoint our own management company or appoint full-time staff who are reporting to us
5) Acording to the Deed of Mutual Consent (DMC), we must get the consent of HGD to take over the management of Canal Gardens as it involves the collection of maintenance fees and sinking fund. Also according to the DMC, HGD can at anytime revoke the decision and for the management of Canal Gardens to be returned to them

The Township Manager, Tony Ooi has mentioned to Krishnan Jr that HGD have plans on passing over the management of Canal Gardens to the CGRC. Therefore, CGRC would like to request for a decision by residents present on whether to register the CGRA by a show of hands on the following:

1) Yes, to register and set up
2) No because we can still continue using PPKK to liaise with both HGD and the authorities
3) To KIV, as we need time to consider

There was a show of hands on items 1-3 above and the numbers are as follows:

1) 70 )
2) 46 ) 121 present
3) 5 )

CGRC to proceed with the registration of the CGRA as soon as possible.

Questions raised before the count and answered by JT Chong:

Is there a need for a quorum for the decision of registering a CGRA?

Legally, we do not require approval of the residents at this meeting to register the RA. What is required is that the pro-tem committee which presently comprises the CGRC members pass a resolution to register a RA, which the CGRC had already done prior to this residents’ meeting. We merely want the residents to endorse and support the decision of the protem committee to form the RA in order to lend greater moral ground when the RA deals with HGD.

Are there any implications when we sell our houses?

No, you as a house-owner may sell your house at any time regardless of whether you are a RA member. Your capacity as a house-owner is different from your capacity as a member of RA. A RA member pays membership subscription fees to the RA. A house-owner must continue to pay monthly maintenance charges and sinking fund to HGD under the DMC, regardless of whether he is a member of RA.

How do we get out of the DMC?

When we sell and are no longer owners of the property.

Other Matters
1) Notice board will be used for minutes of CGRC meetings and newsletters from both CGRC and HGD
2) Residents are welcome to attend any monthly CGRC meetings, check with your respective road representatives for the dates
3) Collection of donation for the CGRC fund from residents present is RM1,169.00
4) Canal Gardens T-shirt sale @ RM25 per piece available

There being no other matters, the meeting ended at 10.45 pm.

How Come Ah? Can HGD Property Services Enlighten Us Ah?

For those of you who turned up at our annual AGM, thank you. You will have a copy of the "unsigned" Financial Statements of Canal Gardens .... Yeah ... "unsigned" one!?

So we really have some questions for HGD Property Services and we really hope to get some good answers lah ... so we are compiling lah. Let's start with:

1. How come ah we only receive the statements only in October after we asked and asked for it since a few months ago? By the way, the financial statements are for financial year ending 31st March 2008? How come ah?

2. How come ah the financial statement we received got no signature one from the auditor? Forgot to sign? So is this the "final" or "approved" financial statement? How come ah? Again-lah I ain't auditor, so not sure if you kena sign the financial statements ....

3. How come ah, we don't see any extra "landscaping maintenance" when Landscaping Maintenance = RM156,000 ... In FY (Financial Year) 2007, our landscaping = Zero. How come ah? Do you see "landscaping maintenance"? Please enlighten us ...

Dear residents, please feel free to comment and add more questions to the list.

Thank You For Your Support - Canal Gardens AGM 2008

Approximate Figures ...
Turnout = 120 households (Out of approximately 500 occupied homes)
Joined PPKK = 50 (Almost half of the attendees)
Donations (On the Night Itself) = RM1,169 (which we used to pay off the rental for tents, chairs, printing, bottled water etc.)

We thank you for the time and effort ... and we look forward to more volunteers in the coming days as we will have open invitation to all Canal Gardens residents to join us in our monthly meeting.

CGRC Monthly Meeting - May 2008

The CGRC (Canal Gardens Residents Committee) had our 7th Monthly Meeting on 9th May, albeit a quick one as most of the team was not able to attend due to some last minute work schedule and appointments. Anyway, here are some of the key summaries of items discussed, which are more or less the same issues affecting most of us:

1. Canal
Design should be ready by anytime now. MBSA is working on it. More info to be shared with the residents when we have more clearer updates.

2. Lighting
MBSA is making rounds to “upgrade” the lightings from 70W to 125W/150W. As they ran out of "bulbs", we will have to wait for the stock to arrive soon. All the street lights will be replaced. We have also requested for better lighting for the Basketball, Parks and Central Park lighting.

3. PPKK Membership Drive
Canal Gardens Residents’ Committee was formed under the patronage of Persatuan Penduduk Kota Kemuning (PPKK). We have received superb support from PPKK. Your road reps will be visiting you soon to help recruit more residents to join PPKK. Read here for more info: PPKK (Persatuan Penduduk Kota Kemuning).

CGRC Meeting - March & April 2008

The CGRC (Canal Gardens Residents Committee) had our 5th and 6th Monthly Meeting on 14th March and 11th April respectively. Here are some of the key summaries of items discussed:

1. Canal
CGRC thanked the residents for the good turnout and superb support on 27th March 2008, and also the support from Datuk Bandar, MP, ADUN, PPKK as well as MBSA. MBSA has agreed to resolve the canal issues. We can look forward to a better and cleaner canal when we have floodgates and additional discharge points. Design will be released within the next few weeks. We will leave it to MBSA to deal with the Developer. We just want the canal to be the same “spec” as promised by the Developer. Read here for more info: VIP Visited Canal Gardens.

2. Grass Cutting
MBSA will take over the overall grass cutting responsibilities from 1st May 2008 onwards and they have apparently appointed Alam Flora to perform this job. We will publish the contact numbers for all so that we all can directly contact the respective parties for all future complaints and enquiries.

3. Lighting
MBSA is making rounds to “upgrade” the lightings from 70W to 125W/150W. Please be patient as this may take a few weeks to complete. We will request for better lighting for the Basketball, Parks and Central Park lighting.

4. Security
There was one incident on 24th March – shoes theft. We request all residents to give a helping hand by adhering to our security SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) by using the access card to get in and out of Canal Gardens. Please ask your visitors to register at the Guard House every time they visit. Please help to make sure our security guard do their jobs. If you find them slacking or lepaking, please lodge a complaint. There are complaint/incident forms available at the Guard House. Or send an email to us: CanalGardens@gmail.com. Read here for more info: Security Breached - Road L.

5. Family Day & Golf Tournament
Overall a very good turnout and support from the residents. The Family Day was a self-sustained event funded through the participants’ collections as well as contributions from our sponsors. For Golf Tournament, we managed to add some funds into our Canal Gardens Residents Community Fund. Read here for more info: Family Day and Golf Tournament.

6. PPKK Membership Drive
Canal Gardens Residents’ Committee was formed under the patronage of Persatuan Penduduk Kota Kemuning (PPKK). We have received superb support from PPKK. The recent visits by the VIPs, highlighting our plights are all done through PPKK. There will be an AGM next Tuesday 15th April at Kota Permai Golf & Country Club. We would like to see more residents of Canal Gardens becoming members of PPKK. Read here for more info: PPKK (Persatuan Penduduk Kota Kemuning).

CGRC 2007/09 - 5th Meeting

The team members of Kota Kemuning Canal Gardens Residents' Committee met up for the fifth time in four months, to discuss and find ways to address the problems and/or issues brought up by the community.

Here are some of the key items which we went through during this meeting on Friday, 15th February 2008:

1. Dirty and Stinky Canal (Macam Canal, Bukan Canal)
The canal in Canal Gardens is way too dirty, clogged up, producing foul stenches, to be called a canal. Uh... It looks like a canal, sounds like a canal but we are really not sure whether this is actually a canal. We understand that this so-called canal is actually meant to be a big drain ... it is now functioning more like a longkang besar without proper floodgate, oxidation system. We need a proper floodgate, extra culverts, oxidation system to keep this canal functional and clean. So we need to fix this asap!

2. Securities (Tidak Apa Attitude and Work Ethic)
The are many complaints on the tidak-apa attitude and tak-kisah kerja problems with our current security guards. Contractors and visitors are being allowed to enter without proper verifications and there are no proper checking when they exit. We also have problems with our own residents, some who just refused to use their cards (for reasons only known to them) and expect the security guard to recognize them and main tekan the switches to allow them free entry. We would like to seek the fullest cooperation from all residents to help our security guards to their jobs. You should tegur, tick off or at least highlight if they are not doing their job properly and not when they ask you to sign in when you don't have the proper entry card.

3. Setting Up and Registering a Proper Residents Association for Kota Kemuning Canal Gardens
One of the way to resolve our current issues with regards to poor maintenance services rendeered by our developer (or developer's sister company) - from securities to cleanliness, is to setup and register a fully recognized Residents Association for Kota Kemuning Canal Gardens. We are targeting to achieve this as soon as possible, within the next couple of months. For your information, we are now currently operating under the patronage of PPKK (Persatuan Penduduk Kota Kemuning).

4. Golf Tournament Updates
Fixed for Sunday, 24 February 2008 at Bukit Kemuning Golf & Country Resort. Prizes and goody bags have been arranged by Steven Lim and his sub-committee.

5. Family Day 2008 Updates
Fixed for Saturday, 22 March 2008. To be organized by Lily Wong and her sub-committee.
We are proposing a fees around RM30.00 (adults) and RM15.00 (children below 12 years). We are lining up some exciting and fun programmes for the young ones as well as adults:
  • Yummy, Yummy Food
  • Karaoke Singing Contest
  • Master and Miss Canal Gardens Contest (for children ranging between 5 – 10 years)
  • Clowns
  • Face Painting
  • Stalls - Selling house safety equipments like fire extinguishers, house alarm systems etc.
  • And many more fun, exciting events ......
6. Lion Dance for Chinese New Year
Lion Dance at the Central Park on Sunday, 17 February 2008

7. Speeding Dangerously in Canal Gardens
We would like all residents to observe the speed limit within Canal Gardens. Please go slow, stick to 30-40KM/Hour. If you seen anyone speeding, be it our residents and/or outsiders, please list down the Car Number/Date & Time of the incident and email to us. We will go address this directly with the resident. If these speed-maniac is outsider, for example, contractors or visitors, we may blacklist and ban them from entering Canal Gardens. We will also be getting quotations for mirror to be placed/located at the blind corners of Roads F and P.

Here's our Action Plan:
  • Letter to HGD Property Services Sdn Bhd requesting for a meeting – done and awaiting their response. They have refused to meet us for the past seven months. We paid our monthly maintenance services ... but they refused to even participate in meetings ... how can?
  • Representation to Mayor and Wakil Rakyat on the problems faced by Canal Gardens residents ... especially the big canal issue!
  • Follow-Up with MBSA on the street light which has not been functioning for the past 6 months at the Central Park.
  • To get quotation for mirror to be located at the blind corners of Roads F and P.
You can learn more about the past, existing as well as latest happenings, events, as well as issues faced by Canal Gardens community here, through our past meeting updates:
  1. 1st Meeting - 2nd November 2007
  2. 2nd Meeting - 14th November 2007
  3. 3rd Meeting - 14th December 2007
  4. 4th Meeting - 11th January 2008

CGRC 2007/09 - 4th Meeting

On 11th January 2008, we had our 4th Meeting for the Canal Gardens Residents' Committee (CGRC). This is our monthly meeting where the team got together and share feedbacks received from the community, plan for coomunity events, take appropriate actions to resolve issues etc. Here are the key summary on items discussed:

1. Speed Bump / Road Hump is Too "Tall"
We received quite a number of feedback and complaints on the speed bump which was built on Jalan 98J. Apparently this speed bump was built without proper approval from the relevant authority. It is too "tall" and this poses daily problems to the residents who uses Jalan 98F, as this “tall” speed bump is hard to negotiate even at very slow speeds. Bottom kena scratch! A number of residents have written to the MBSA to complaint about this issue. We believe the speed bump is good. However, we would like the authority to “lower” the speed bump (rather than removing it totally).

2. Speeding - Please NO Speeding!
In the first place, the issue above with regards to speed bump would not occur if we all can be more sensible and reasonable when it comes to driving. We need to help one another to make this a better and safer place. If you see someone driving recklessly and speeding, please take down their plate number and buzz our security (03-5121-5076). If you know him or her, why not go over and have a friendly chat? The official speed limit within Canal Gardens is 35KMH. We believe doing a 20KMH – 25KMH would be good enough to get you home within one or two minutes from our main entrance right to your doorstep. Can we have your attention and cooperation to drive carefully and slowly … especially when you are within the Canal Gardens?

3. Taking Care of Your Precious Pets
We are also calling all pet owners to help jaga their pets to ensure that no untoward incidents as there are a few complaints on dogs running loose around the Canal Gardens. We like to have your cooperation to keep your dog on a leash at all times while in public / common areas. Please also refrain your lovely pets from defile, defecate or commit "nuisance" on public / common areas. Should your lovely pets really need to have a “go”, please have the courtesy to immediately remove all feces and dispose them like how you would do so if they have a “go” at your own compound.

4. Exit Auto Gate
We have been trying to get HGD Property Services to fix this asap. It’s been more than one month. We are still trying. You can do your part by calling them at this number 03 – 5122-8100 and ask them when can they fix it.

5. Sports and Social Event – Golf
We have postponed this event to 24th February 2008 (Sunday). Please stay tune for more detailed information on how you can participate and get to know your fellow golfers from Canal Gardens.

6. Sports and Social Event – Family Day
Our plan is to have this on 22nd March 2008 (Saturday). Our friendly committees and road reps will be making their rounds to get some feedbacks and estimates on the number of people who will be participating in this year’s event.

7. Security - Please Help Our Guards Do Their Jobs
We seek your cooperation to cooperate with our security guards. Please help them do their job as we all want a very safe environment for our family. Please ensure that all your guests are properly informed that they need to let the security guards take down their particulars. For those on renovations, please ensure that your contractors are also registered with the security guards. We all understand that this may cause some inconvenient. But this is a very, very small price to pay to ensure top notch security within Canal Gardens.

CGRC will be meeting up with the relevant authorities to have dialogues and clarifications as well as seek their help to resolve issues faced by our residents (on the above matters). Stay tune for updates.

CGRC 2007/09 - 3rd Meeting

Our Canal Gardens Residents' Committee 3rd Meeting was held on Friday, 14th December 2007. Our Chairman, Mr. Krishnan Jr. updated the rest of the members on overall progress on our request to fix existing issues pertaining to Canal Gardens. As our developer has partly handed-over and happily washed-off their hands to MBSA on landscape and street lighting, we have to deal with MBSA directly on some of the following matters.

Here are the updates:

1. Replacing dead trees and planting more trees along the canal (MBSA delivered the plants on 14th Dec, and will be planting soon).
2. Improving the lighting (MBSA has agreed to put up adequate lighting for our basketball & badminton courts; more lighting along the canal as well as brighter lighting for our areas/streets).

There is still one thorny issue which we need our developer to fix - our canal. Apparently our developer has yet to successfully handover the canal to MBSA. Numerous meeting requests by Canal Gardens Residents' Committee were rejected by our developer. We are very disappointed with the attitude shown by our developer. On principal, MBSA has agreed to request our developer to "fix" the issues pertaining to our canal e.g. setting up floodgate, widening the canal, extending exit point of the canal prior to accepting the handover.

Canal Gardens Residents' Committee will also write to seek an appointment with the Big Boss of Gamuda in the hope that we will be able to have a channel to help us resolve all the open issues amicably, as soon as possible.

Canal Gardens Residents' Committee will keep all posted. Please tune in for more updates.

CGRC 2007/09 - 2nd Meeting

Our 2nd Meeting was held on Wednesday, 14th November 2007. The team discussed and deliberated on some of the issues which we still need the developer to address e.g. floodgate for the canal, insufficient lighting at the central park, dead trees not being replaced and extending the exit point of the canal. We are writing in again to seek for a meeting as our previous request for meeting was rejected. We really wanted to resolve all the open issues amicably, within the soonest time possible. We will keep all posted here.

On the hand, the team has also laid out some community activities for the coming months. Among those planned are: Golf Tournament (Dec '07), Family Day (March '08), Garage Sales (July '08) and Home Garden Contest (Sept '08). We are lso looking into organizing some sports activities like Walkathon and Basketball.

So stay tune for more updates. CGRC Social Head and Sports Head, Lily Wong, Choong Chee Sam and Steven Lim, will be sharing more information with all in the coming blogs.

Updated 11 Jan 2008: Golf Tournament will be held in end of Feb 2008.

CGRC 2007/09 - 1st Meeting

This is our first meeting for the newly elected Kota Kemuning Canal Gardens Residents' Committee (CGRC) for 2007/09. The meeting was held on Friday, 2nd November 2007 which is less than one week after the Kota Kemuning Canal Gardens Residents' Annual General Meeting (held on Sunday, 28th October 2007 at Centre Park's Basketball Court). Our first CGRC Meeting was held at the Persatuan Penduduk Kota Kemuning (PPKK) office which is located next to the Kota Kemuning Balai Polis, above the Post Office. It was a lively two hours session where we all nominated and elected our new key office bearers e.g. Chairman, Vice Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer and Head of "Departments".

For the new term 2007/09, we continued the tradisi of having a good "mixture" across the committees to ensure all residents are represented as evenly as possible... We have Chinese, Malay and Indian... (That's the spirit of Muhibah!)... From 20s to 60s (So young and old also have their views represented here)... Profession-wise, we have Lawyer, Auditor, Businessman, Banker, Trader, Principal, IT... macam-macam pun ada...

Most importantly, all these committees are fellow residents who cared enough and volunteered themselves to serve our community, to ensure that all of us, the esteemed residents of Kota Kemuning Canal Gardens, live in a safe, comfortable, friendly, healthy, and harmony environment.

In the upcoming Blogs, we will introduce some of the committee members and share with you the respective "Departments" and "Functions/Roles" so that we all get to know each other better. So stay tune!

We will be launching our very own Canal Gardens Residents' Community Portal, albeit a simple e-forum, we should be able to access information privy to residents-only e.g. Meeting Minutes, Financial Statements. This Community Portal will also provide another channel for the residents to provide feedback on how to improve our lovely Canal Gardens, or channel our grievances so that actions can be taken to address the issues respectively. So stay tune and check us out regularly!

Updated: 11 Jan 2008 - This BLOG has provided a good platform for communication which is easily accessible by majority of the community. Hence, Kota Kemuning Canal Gardens Residents' Committee decided to leverage on this BLOG alone and will not be launching the Community Portal for now.
